2020 Festival Cancelled

It is with profound regret that we have reached the decision to cancel the Deni Uke Muster Festival this year. We're sure that you have heard words like unprecedented circumstances and uncertain times all too often, but this is the reality of our situation.  The amount of volunteer time and effort required to set festival preparations in motion is considerable in the months leading up to the opening of ticket sales in September.  This year we cannot plan effectively because we cannot know what the safe distancing requirements will be in November, nor whether the spaces available to us for workshops, performances and meals will support the numbers we need to make the festival viable.
Despite our disappointment, we remain enthusiastic about bringing you a fabulous festival next year.  We have some terrific presenters who have been asked to put us in their diaries for 2021 (but we can't tell you who just yet). In the meantime, stay well and keep a-strumming and a-picking :).

Sure is a bugger! The Deni Uke Muster is a fabulous weekend for locals, tourists and participants. The “ukies” are a great bunch of musicians who spread joy wherever they play! X Kate

I was looking forward to attending my first Deniukemuster but I totally understand your reasons for cancelling.
Can't wait for 2021!

Had been looking forward to attending this year, but understand the actions of the organisers and thank them for the advance notice. Here's to 2021.

Hi, I've moved back to within a couple of hours of Deni so was thinking about going again but totally understand why it has been cancelled for this year. I'm in Vic so we're pretty much persona non grata to the rest of the country anyway. Looking forward to returning to the place I first picked up a uke.

Cheers to all the Deni Uke Club.

Hi all at Deni, It's November and I'm missing you more and more. It feels so wrong to not be planning my annual trip away to visit you .

Really looking forward to the next muster.

Happy strumming
